Photography & Video – adding impact.
Project Coordination – putting it all together.
Many of my projects involve a creative team depending on the client’s needs. I have developed a network of associates who provide specialized services, including award-winning graphic designers, videographers and social media experts.
Based in Orillia, Ontario, I have enjoyed providing marketing communications services to a wide variety of clients for over 20 years, following a successful career in the management and promotion of recreation and leisure services. I have focused much of my work in the fields of public and social service, recreation and culture, education, and tourism. I have contributed to a number of award-winning campaigns and projects that have helped to raise public awareness for organizations such as Parks and Recreation Ontario, Lakehead University, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, and the City of Orillia.
From 2010 to 2017, I worked with Lakehead University, where I was responsible for planning the grand opening of the Orillia campus and directing the marketing communications activities for the new campus. I worked with students, faculty, staff and the community to position the campus as one of Canada's leading comprehensive university campuses.
I am committed to lifelong learning and have completed studies in Public Relations (Ryerson University), Canadian Marketing Management (University of Toronto), and Recreation and Leisure Studies (Fanshawe College), in addition to specialized training courses – including digital marketing and social media – from some of Canada’s leading training institutions.
I love living and working in the heart of Ontario’s Lake Country and am committed to contributing to the quality of life offered within the Orillia area. I am currently a member of the Couchiching Conservancy Board of Directors; a volunteer with the Ontario Winter Games; and active supporter of local arts and festival organizations.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kathy over the years on a number of projects – large and small. Not only is she extremely creative, thoroughly engaged, super-organized and a true results-oriented professional, she’s also great to work with and fun to be around.

KEY TO OUR SUCCESS
Kathy is hands down the best marketing communications professional I've worked with. When we brought Lakehead University to Simcoe County, we wanted to show people what a learner-centred, community-oriented university was, and Kathy pulled out all the stops to get our message out there. She was key to our success. Whether you're a large firm or a small non-profit, she'll present you to your audiences in the most strategic, cost-effective, accurate, and timely manner.

Kathy worked with us at Rama First Nation on our first printed publication of our annual report. She took the time to understand how things work in the community during the editing and building of the report. Kathy Hunt is professional, courteous, forward thinking and she does excellent work. It was a pleasure working with her on this project.
